Fiscal Awareness Service
Debating Michigan's Future Toward the Year 2000

As part of our Fiscal Awareness Service, Public Sector Consultants Inc., will publish a series of policy papers discussing the significance of the year 2000 for public policy in Michigan. The first paper will provide an overview; others will present provocative commentary about the environment, education, health, economic development, and government organization in Michigan. These papers are intended to encourage thought and discussion. The comments of our readership are welcome and may be incorporated into the final publication, a compendium of the series. The creative thought for these papers comes from an editorial group of Public Sector Consultants, Inc., staff and associates headed by Dr. Gerald A. Faverman.
